Kilchoman introduces the warehouse tasting

Kilchoman is introducing a warehouse tasting for the first time in its history, allowing guests to draw whisky straight from the cask inside the distillery warehouses. The experience launches this summer as part of a fully refreshed visitor programme for 2026.

Warehouse tasting

The warehouse tasting runs Sunday to Thursday at 11:15. Guests explore three specially selected casks that showcase the range of Kilchoman flavour profiles, drawing whisky directly from each one. The distillery has also produced 100 ml bottlings from each cask, available exclusively in the on-site shop. Capacity is limited and early booking is strongly recommended.

New 100% Islay Sunday experience

The second addition is a Sunday experience dedicated to the production of Kilchoman’s 100% Islay spirit. A two-hour deep dive into every stage of the barley-to-bottle process at the farm distillery that controls it all in-house. Space is limited to ten guests per session. Dates and availability are listed on the distillery’s booking page.

The announcement comes just weeks before Fèis Ìle 2026, Islay’s annual whisky festival running 22–31 May. Kilchoman’s open day falls on 28 May. The new experiences will remain available throughout the summer season.
